Driving Factor Identification for the Spatial Distribution of Soil Salinity in the Irrigation Area of the Syr Darya River, Kazakhstan

Soil salinization has become a worldwide issue affecting agricultural development. Statistical methods and spatial analysis were used to analyze the degree type of saline soils their distribution. The driving factors soil salinity explored using Geodetetcor models. In this study, 84 samples collected from 0–20 cm layer, total salt concentration ion composition measured. results statistical cluster showed that SO42? Ca2+ had highest concentrations ions in terms anion cation contents, respectively. interpolation indicated study area was dominated by mild soils, with sulfate-type chloride-sulfate-type dominating.
